WORKSHOP COMPLET / FULL

During five day, the workshop will consists on working towards a better understanding of how to piece together groups of images in order to create a coherent body of work, be it for a book, the wall or for the pages of a magazine. Vanessa Winship will be taking the participants through the processes of her own visual storytelling, as well as introducing the works of other contemporary artists. All together, we will then look depth at each of participants’ work, both past and current, to identify the best possible context for each individual body of work. We will focus on the understanding of the story, how to work with clarity, to express ideas and bring them to fruition. We will look at the aspects of sequencing, editing, scale, format and style. Finally, there will be a chance to discuss getting the work into the wider world.
